Our DIY Flex Seal Holiday Doormats are love at frost sight! Yule be the envy of all your neighbors with our durable, completely customizable, festive, front door décor!
● 1 Natural fiber tan doormat
● Stencil
You can use a pre-made stencil or create the images yourself using your computer. If you choose to follow Ashley’s method, make sure to use freezer wax paper and a Cricut vinyl cutter. Once you’ve cut the image out of the freezer paper, remove any excess.
Next, measure and center the image. Once you have placed the stencil where you want, use an iron to press and flatten the stencil onto the mat.
Hold for 5-10 seconds.
Before using Flex Seal, read all the directions carefully. Make sure to also cover the area you’re working on.
In a well-ventilated area, hold the can 8” away from the surface and begin to spray. For the best results, hold the can directly above the mat. Do not hold the can at an angle, as this can cause the spray to go under the stencil.
Once you are happy with the results, set to dry. Let the mat dry approximately an hour before removing the stencil. Your new festive holiday doormat will be fully dry in 24 hours.
