What is the difference between Flex Seal and Flex Shot?

Flex Seal is a liquid rubber spray, and Flex Shot is a caulking rubber sealant. They will both stop leaks and fill cracks and holes, but what you need it for, will determine which one you use. Flex Shot offers more precision and can be used as caulking, whereas Flex Seal is sprayed on and can cover a larger surface to make it completely waterproof. You may need several coats of Flex Seal to make the surface completely waterproof, while Flex Shot is a one-time application of a rubber bead that can be built up.

When to Use Flex Seal

· Sealing large surfaces (roofs, gutters, basements)

· Waterproofing materials (wood, metal, concrete, fabric)

· Hard-to-reach areas where a spray application works best

Flex Seal is great for broad coverage, forming a flexible, rubberized barrier that keeps water out. Simply spray it on, let it dry, and apply additional coats as needed for a strong waterproof seal.

When to Use Flex Shot

· Filling gaps, cracks, and holes (bathrooms, kitchens, windows)

· Sealing plumbing fixtures and pipes

· Areas where you’d normally use caulk

Flex Shot is thicker and more precise, making it perfect for filling gaps that require a strong, waterproof seal without the need for a caulking gun. It provides a smooth, bead-like finish that won’t shrink or crack over time.

Which Product is Right for You?
