Flex Seal Liquid can be brushed, rolled, or poured onto a surface to help seal and protect it. When it comes to how thick to apply the product, you should consider the type of application you’ll be doing. If you apply Flex Seal Liquid too thick on a vertical surface, it will run. However, if you apply it thick on a horizontal surface, it will spread and self-level.
When using a paintbrush or roller, apply even layers allowing time for each layer to cure (24-48 hours) before applying the next until your desired layer thickness is achieved. When pouring, continue to pour until the surface has been covered and all cracks and/or holes have been filled completely. When pouring into an area of depth greater than ¼ inch, allow each ¼ inch layer to cure completely before pouring the next layer. Allow at least 48 hours for the liquid to fully cure.
