How do you smooth out Flex Paste?

Flex Paste is highly moldable and shapable, making it an excellent choice for projects requiring precision and customization. Its thick consistency allows for easy spreading and smoothing, whether you’re filling cracks, sealing gaps, or shaping it for a DIY project. Here are some tips to help you smooth out Flex Paste.

1. Use a Putty Knife or Spatula: Flex Paste is best spread using these types of tools, as they will allow you to evenly distribute the paste across the surface and shape it as needed.
2. Work Quickly: Depending on temperature, humidity or the thickness of the layer, Flex Paste can be tooled within 15-30 minutes of the initial application, so we recommend smoothing the product out shortly after applying. Flex Paste will dry to the touch in approximately 2 hours and fully cure in 24-48 hours.
3. Shape With Your Hands: If wearing gloves, you can mold the paste with your fingers to create specific contours or designs.

Flex Paste’s ability to conform to various shapes and surfaces makes it a versatile material for creative or functional projects. Its moldability ensures you can achieve a professional-looking result tailored to your needs.
