FLEX PASTE^® FLOOD PROTECTION (CARTRIDGE)

Flood Paste in a Cartridge is the primary Flood Protection product and should be used as a base coat for your first layer of protection. The cartridge nozzle allows you to target specific areas that need to be sealed. Use on windows, doors, garage doors, and all types of seams, brick moulding, thresholds, conduits, vents and ducts, door hardware (hinges and locks), and more.

FLEX SEAL LIQUID^® FLOOD PROTECTION

Flood Liquid should be used primarily as a final layer of protection to help seal any small pinholes or openings that may have been missed. Brush a generous amount directly on top of our other Flood Protection products, making sure the coat is wider and overlaps previous layers of protection. Allow dry as long as possible before floodwater arrives. Liquid is ready to start holding back water in as little as 1 hour, depending on temperature, humidity, and thickness of coat.

FLEX SEAL^® SPRAY FLOOD PROTECTION

Flood Spray is used as a final coat of protection to fill any small openings or pinholes that may have been missed in place of Flex Seal Liquid (when flooding is imminent and there is not at least an hour for liquid to dry). When used as a final coat, apply Flood Spray on top of all previous layers of Flood Protection products. We recommend you use Flood Spray as a top coating on our other Flood Protection products. You can also apply Flood Spray to seal hard-to-reach areas, such as seams, windowsills, small openings, corners, irregular shapes, and more.

FLEX TAPE^® FLOOD PROTECTION

Flood Tape is a removable waterproof tape. It should only be applied to smooth, flat, even, nonporous surfaces and always be used in combination with other Flex Seal Flood Protection products. It comes extra wide to help seal large openings and can be used on both horizontal and vertical surfaces. Do not bend Flood Tape around corners or over irregular shapes. Flood Paste and/or Flood Liquid should be applied directly on top of the Flood Tape’s seams and edges.

DRY TIMES

FLEX PASTE^® FLOOD PROTECTION (CARTRIDGE)

Allow to dry to touch (min 1 hour) before topcoating with other Flood Protection products. Dry time may vary based on temperature, humidity, and thickness of coat.

FLEX SEAL LIQUID^® FLOOD PROTECTION

Flood Liquid is ready to start holding back water in as little as 1 hour, depending on temperature, humidity, and thickness of coat.

FLEX SEAL^® SPRAY FLOOD PROTECTION

Flood Spray is ready to start holding back water in as little as 15 minutes. Dry time may vary based on temperature, humidity, and thickness of coat.

FLEX TAPE^® FLOOD PROTECTION

There is no dry time needed for Flood Protection Tape.

COVERAGE

FLEX PASTE^® FLOOD PROTECTION (CARTRIDGE)

9 oz Cartridge: 1/4" inch bead will cover approximately 21 linear feet.

FLEX SEAL LIQUID^® FLOOD PROTECTION

10 oz: One coat applied 2” wide will cover approximately 20 linear feet.

FLEX SEAL^® SPRAY FLOOD PROTECTION

10 oz: When applied 3” in width, 8-12 inches from surface, coverage is approximately 40 linear feet.

FLEX TAPE^® FLOOD PROTECTION

Will cover 3.75” x 20 linear feet.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Always follow state and local weather advisories and evacuation orders. Depending on age and type of construction, there may be areas that cannot be seen or sealed. Unsealed porous surfaces may seep water during extended underwater exposure. Our Flood Protection Products are NOT intended for flash floods, extreme winds or water pressure, to protect against flying or floating debris, or if there is structural damage to the building.
