FLEX SEAL DRAFT & INSULATION TAPE
STOPS DRAFTS FAST!
A clear, flexible, weatherproof strip that instantly seals gaps around windows, doors, vents, and more to keep out air, dust, and moisture. It blocks cold winter drafts and hot summer air, reducing energy costs and improving year-round comfort. Plus, it won’t interfere with how doors or windows open and close. Best of all, it can be applied in seconds—no tools, no mess. Just cut, peel, and stick.
• 2” wide coverage – excellent for sealing wide gaps.
• Strong adhesion – stays put through rain, wind, and extreme temperatures.
• Flexible rubberized edge maintains shape and seals tight, without cracking.
• Weather and moisture resistant – use indoors or outdoors.
• Clear protection – blends in seamlessly almost anywhere.
• Easy application – just cut, peel, and stick.
• Removes cleanly, repositionable, and ready for reuse.
Excellent for sealing: windows, doors, vents, attic hatches, shower doors, and more.
Adheres to: smooth, non-porous surfaces, including wood, glass, tile, metal, plastic, and fiberglass.
GENERAL DIRECTIONS
• Clean and dry the surface. For glass or metal, use cleaner for best results.
• Measure and cut one strip at a time to your desired length.
• “Dry fit” your Draft Tape before applying to surfaces to ensure correct measurements/placement.
• Peel off backing to expose adhesive.
• Apply with adhesive side down and soft silicone edge covering the gap.
• Press firmly for 15–30 seconds to ensure a secure bond.
• To remove, peel slowly. Rinse tape with water to reuse. Let air dry completely.
TO SEAL THE GAP BETWEEN THE DOOR BOTTOM AND FLOOR
• Measure the correct length of Flex Draft Tape and cut with a sharp pair of scissors.
• Do a “dry fit” to get the proper height placement of the flap.
• Verify that Draft Tape firmly touches the floor without bending.
• Remove the backing and press firmly as you attach it to the inside of the door.
• The flexible flap should gently sweep the floor when the door is opened.
TO SEAL THE GAP BETWEEN THE TOP OF THE DOOR AND THE FRAME
• Measure the correct length of Flex Draft Tape and cut with a sharp pair of scissors.
• Do a “dry fit” to get the proper flap placement.
• Remove the backing and attach the Draft Tape to the top of the door (inside), making sure the flap covers the gap.
TO SEAL THE VERTICAL GAPS BETWEEN THE SIDES OF THE DOOR AND THE FRAME
• Measure the correct length of Flex Draft Tape and cut with a sharp pair of scissors.
*NOTE: Draft Tape may have to be cut into sections to work around hinges.
• Do a “dry fit” to get the proper flap placement.
• Remove the backing and attach the Draft Tape (or sections of Draft Tape) to the inside of the door, making sure the flap covers the gap.
FOR DOORS THAT OPEN OUTWARD
• Apply Draft Tape to the bottom of the door on the INSIDE.
• At the top of the door and on the sides, apply Draft Tape to the INSIDE of the frame and not the door.
