Can You Use Flex Seal in the Winter?

When winter weather rolls in, your repairs don’t have to wait. The Flex Seal Family of Products is designed for year-round use, including in cold, damp conditions. With the right prep and application tips, you can confidently seal, patch, and protect surfaces, even when temperatures drop.

Using Flex Seal Products in Winter

Flex Seal products can be applied in lower temperatures; however, cold and damp weather may slow cure times and affect how the product flows or adheres. For best results:

  • Make sure surfaces are clean
  • Apply during the warmest part of the day whenever possible
  • Allow extra time for the product to cure or bond fully
  • Store products indoors before use to maintain proper consistency
