Flex Shot is designed to provide a smooth, no-mess bead without the need for a caulking gun. Once fully cured, it forms a rubberized seal that holds strong in a wide range of conditions. While Flex Shot is highly durable and flexible, it is not meant to be sanded like traditional caulk or wood filler. Attempting to do so may result in a rough texture or compromise the seal.

Trimming, however, is possible. If any excess Flex Shot is present after application, you can carefully trim it with a utility knife or razor blade once the product has fully cured. This allows you to clean up uneven edges or remove small overflows.

Flex Shot typically skins over in about 20 minutes and cures in 24 to 48 hours, depending on humidity and thickness.
