When should you not use Flex Tape?

Flex Tape is a super strong waterproof tape that can patch, bond, seal and repair virtually everything. However, there are a few instances where Flex Tape would not be the best choice.

We do not recommend using Flex Tape for applications that are:

  • High-pressure
  • Exposed to temperatures over 200° F
  • Used to hold potable water
  • Around flammable substances

Certain vinyl, rubber, and plasticized surfaces may resist adhesion from Flex Tape, so it's best to test a small area before use to ensure proper adhesion.
