How to use Flex Tape on a leaking pipe

Flex Tape can patch, bond, seal, and repair virtually anything. If you have a leaky pipe problem, grab some Flex Tape and read on.

How To Use Flex Tape on a Leaking Pipe:

  1. Clean the pipe so it’s free of grease, oil, and dirt.
  2. Using a razor blade or knife, cut a piece of Flex Tape large enough to wrap around the pipe, with some overlap.
  3. Peel off the clear protective backing and apply Flex Tape over the leak using firm pressure.
  4. Smooth out any air bubbles or water that may be under the tape.

It’s important to note that Flex Tape is intended to be a temporary fix until a more permanent solution can be achieved. This product is recommended for normal hydrostatic pressure but is not meant to withstand extreme pressure.
