How to use Flex Tape on a leaking pipe
Flex Tape can patch, bond, seal, and repair virtually anything. If you have a leaky pipe problem, grab some Flex Tape and read on.
How To Use Flex Tape on a Leaking Pipe:
- Clean the pipe so it’s free of grease, oil, and dirt.
- Using a razor blade or knife, cut a piece of Flex Tape large enough to wrap around the pipe, with some overlap.
- Peel off the clear protective backing and apply Flex Tape over the leak using firm pressure.
- Smooth out any air bubbles or water that may be under the tape.
It’s important to note that Flex Tape is intended to be a temporary fix until a more permanent solution can be achieved. This product is recommended for normal hydrostatic pressure but is not meant to withstand extreme pressure.
