Can You Add Color To Flex Seal Liquid?
So you’re ready to coat, seal, and protect with Flex Seal Liquid and are thinking about adding dye to the product to create a custom color. Unfortunately, we do not recommend adding anything to Flex Seal Liquid to change the tint or color, as it may impact the product's performance.
However, you can paint the application surface your desired color and apply Flex Seal Liquid clear on top to seal and protect. Just use a high-quality oil-based paint and make sure the painted surface is completely dry before applying Flex Seal Liquid. Now, you have a custom look that’s protected by the sealing power of Flex Seal Liquid. Lookin’ good!
