After applying Flex Shot, how soon can I paint over it?

Flex Shot is a powerful, rubberized sealant that creates a waterproof barrier, but it is not designed to be paintable. After application, it dries to a smooth, rubber-like finish that resists cracking, shrinking, and peeling. However, because it remains flexible and retains a slight sheen, most paints will not adhere properly to its surface. If appearance is a concern and you need a specific color, Flex Shot is available in white, clear, black, or almond to match your surface as closely as possible.

If you're planning a project where painting over the sealant is necessary, Flex Caulk Hybrid would be a better choice. It bonds to wet or dry surfaces, remains flexible, and is compatible with most high-quality latex paints once fully cured.
