1. Headlight Casing Repair

Headlight casings are prone to breaking from road debris, sun deterioration, or a fender bender in the parking lot. No matter what caused the break, you will want to find a way to mend your headlight to prevent further damage and stop water from pooling inside when it rains.

Flex Tape Clear can quickly patch a headlight casing. Just cut a piece of tape to size and stick it over the crack. Our super-strong waterproof tape will protect the bulb and electronics while still letting light pass through. Also available in a convenient travel size, Flex Tape Minis are easy to keep stored in your glove compartment for car repairs on the go.

2. Secure Exterior Trim

Weatherstripping, trim, and exterior detailing can become loose over time and may even fall off. Since the exterior of your car is frequently exposed to moisture, you need a waterproof adhesive to get the job done.

Flex Glue works in wet conditions and holds on tight to help keep important pieces in place, from RV weather stripping to a truck bed’s trim.

3. Fix Side View Mirrors

Side mirrors are often damaged in minor accidents. All it takes is a careless driver to come a little too close, and boom, the mirror comes right off. While you will ultimately want to replace a broken side mirror, sometimes you need a quick fix to keep it attached.

Flex Tape's super strength will help secure the mirror until you can replace it. Simply remove the protective backing and tape the mirror back in place.

4. Prevent Damage to Wheel Wells

Whenever your tires kick up a rock, dirt, or mud, it usually hits your wheel well. And if you take your vehicle off-road, the damage is even more extreme. A true road warrior knows it's better to be proactive than deal with an issue later.

Flex Seal Spray can give you peace of mind by adding an extra layer of protection to wheel beds. A coat of Flex Seal forms a watertight, rubberized barrier that can help keep rust away and reduce damage from rocks and debris.

5. Prevent Window Leaks

Vehicles usually have a few fixed windows (windows that don’t roll up or down), and these types of windows can leak over time – especially in RVs.

Flex Seal and Flex Shot are perfect remedies for fixing a window leak. Trim windows with Flex Shot clear, then apply a coat of Flex Seal Clear to the outside border of the window for extra protection.

6. Add or Repair a Truck Bed Lining

One great use for Flex Seal Spray is to add or repair a pickup truck bed liner. Truck beds tend to have exposed metal, which can start to rust if damaged. Plus, let’s face it – most truck beds get damaged with regular use.

A layer of Flex Seal Spray will help keep moisture out while forming a rubberized, protective barrier. As wear and tear occur, apply more Flex Seal to the damaged areas to protect your truck bed for the long haul.

7. Fix Fabric Covers

If you find a rip or tear in your fabric cover, don’t throw it away – fix it with Flex Tape! Our strong, rubberized waterproof tape can help extend the life of ATV, motorcycle, or snowmobile covers, RV awnings, convertible tops, and more.

8. Coat and Protect Undercarriage

Applying Flex Seal to your vehicle's undercarriage can improve the look and make it easier to clean. Many customers have used Flex Seal on classic cars, lifted trucks, and more. This extra layer protects from the elements and helps prevent rust from forming.

Flex Seal also adds another barrier around pipes and holding tanks for an RV, helping to stop leaks before they start.

9. Skylight Repair

Most RVs have skylights of some kind, and while they’re great for allowing natural light in, they’re also prone to damage. A leaking skylight can lead to a host of issues throughout your vehicle.

Flex Tape can help patch holes in skylights for a quick fix to keep the inside completely dry.

10. Fix RV Siding

When you live a life built for adventure, scrapes and bruises to your vehicle are bound to happen! The good news is that RV siding can easily be patched with Flex Tape.

We had one product user who backed their RV into an electrical box, tearing a large hole in the back. Three years later, the same piece of Flex Tape is holding strong, keeping water, critters, and debris out of the hole.

11. Seal Your RV Roof

RV roofs should be checked and resealed regularly to prevent any moisture from getting through and seeping into the walls.

Flex Seal Liquid is an excellent option for resealing an RV roof. Also, if you notice rust spots on the roof of your car or truck, a layer of Flex Seal Liquid can help to protect it from any further deterioration.

These are just a few of the many ways Flex Seal can help repair your car, truck, or RV. Flex Seal products are a great go-to, whether it's for vehicle maintenance or emergency repairs. Make sure to have them handy in your garage, and keep a few tucked in your vehicle for your next road trip. You’ll be glad you did!
